Very late delivery
On the 06th of May 2016 at 19:07, I made a call to Nandos Randfontein and made an order for delivery. I spoke to Dephney on the phone and she told me that my order will be delivered in 35 minutes time. Little did I know that 35 minutes will be close to an hour and half. When I called to enquire about the food after 50 minutes of the initial call I was told that my order was on the way. I was promised that the driver will be called and that they will call me back to let me know what was causing the delay, but no one called back until the delivery guy arrived. When the driver was asked about the delay, his answer was that he was lost. My question is, first of all how do Nandos Randfontein expect customers to get their deliveries on time if the drivers don't have equipment for navigation purposes? Secondly why give the customer a wrong estimation of time for the deliver whereas they can't adhere to? Thirdly, I'm the one paying for the delivery so I don't understand why Nandos does not get GPS navigators for the drivers. By the time the food was delivered it was so cold that I had to reheat it delaying my dinner time!! I'm quite annoyed by this whole incident!
