Vegetarian menu gone wrong

This weekend I went to the nandos in galleria as most Hindu are fasting for kavady, my partner and I wanted to try nandos veg menu. <br> We placed our order by the teller and clearly told her we are fasting so don't put no chicken in our meals. We ordered the halloumi burger which is clearly marked on there menu 'V' vegetarian. Once I paid for our meals I again told the teller don't forget we are fasting so no meat and she said yes I understand. I checked the slip and it didn't have no chicken on the slip. When our orders came my meal was a halloumi burger with all the sauce could not notice much until I took a bite of my burger and spat it out !! Immediately as I chewed the burger I knew the texture was nt only cheese but chicken as well!!! I went up to the manager who just apologies and placed another order for me. It's really pathetic he didn't follow up to check if everything was ok. Secondly nandos advertising for vegetarian menu but clearly there staff does not understand what is meant to be veg vegetarian. I am currently carrying kavady this weekend and I ate chicken!!! Nandos clearly has no respect for there customers religious beliefs. Pathetic service !!
