Unhygenic - Hair in food
My 4 year old son and I went to Nando's in N1 city, the one next to the gym. We ordered 2 quarter chickens. My son got his order first and I waited about 10 minutes later for mine. When the waiter eventually came with my order, I notice that it had a strand of hair in it. I notified the waiter ( cant remember her name) and showed her the piece of hair and she took my plate to the kitchen and didn't say anything. After about 15 minutes the manager came to me saying I had a complaint. I then told her that I had a piece of hair in my food ad she agreed that this was disgusting and she will reimburse me and took down cell phone number, for what reason I don't know. Seriously we love Nando's but the service was horrible and the piece of hair just put me totally off. Don't these people wear scrub caps????
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
