UNCOOKED BLOODED CHICKEN
My family and i had been to the phoenix plaza Nandos over the weekend while on holiday away from JHB, we ordered a full chicken with 3 sides and a 2l coke. We waited over 45 minutes for the food to arrive and when it did come it came to us uncooked with blood on the inside of the chicken,the coke was warm and the rolls were smashed. My husbands sister was with us whos currently 8 months pregnant, she had a craving for nandos hence the reason we decided to go there. After waiting so long and started eating into the chicken we noticed the blood by which she was totally put off by and started vomiting. We called the waiter and she took the plates away went to the back recooked the chicken put more basting over it and served it to us. At this point i was fuming and i asked that a new meal be prepared we then waited another 30+ minutes which was abolutely fustrating then the food comes to us and its the wrong order and was told it will be sorted immediately but took another 10 minutes. My sister in law was so upset that we had to leave and get her something else to eat!! Whilst leaving another customer who witnessed the incident said that the phoenix plaza nandos is absolutely inefficient and has terrible customer service. Never again will i eat there or recommend anyone to go there. Absolutely ****ing service. Really applaud by this as in JHB the customer service is way better at any franchise.
There’s more to Nando’s than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that’s a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
