twice it happened & there wont be third time.
I visited Nandos, placed an order via drive thru, I ordered 2 quarter chickens, rolls & chips meal, Hot & with extra sauce. I did not have time to open the chicken portions to check if all is in order, however upon getting to my destination, I opened the food with my colleague, eager to munch the juicy chicken with the delicious sauce that I specifically asked for, Then Boom.... The meat was dry, there were no extra sauce sachets to make matters worse. Last time I called the same branch to place an order & I received the very same dry meat with no sauce, this time I decided to go there and place an order personally, but it seems like I just don't have a good thing going with Nandos. It seems like most Nandos outlets that I visit don't have a thing for me, last time it was the one in Meadowlands, Ndofaya Mall. The waiter did not allow me to pour vinegar into my takeaway chips, when I asked him to give me a vinegar sachets, he said they don't have vinegar sachets to give out, but they do have vinegar bottles on the table which I'm not allowed to utilise. That's not only insane but scary. I'm done with Nando's & I say GOODBYE, OUR RELATIONSHIP STARTED GOOD BUT ENDS BAD.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
