Terrible, Rotten and Burnt Food Nando's Eldoraigne
I ordered a chicken bowl from Nando's Eldoraigne on the 2nd of March 2020. I was extremely unhappy with the quality of the order - the rice was rotten (you could clearly smell that it was off and the rice was sticky, and the chicken strips were burnt. The order was made through Uber Eats (we had no issues with the driver). We attempted to address this with the store directly - the manager Zandile clearly denies that the rice was off, the rice was clearly sticky and had a bad smell which they tired to conceal with hot sauce. The chicken strips were burnt to a crisp - they were rock hard. In order to "compensate" us she offered us a quarter chicken and chips... Seriously...!?
Needless to say, I am still extremely dissatisfied with my overall experience, the store manager doesn't seem to have a clue how to handle customers and wants to keep a customer on the phone wo called her back after she did not bother to provide us with feedback (and **** about it too! I mean really, **** missed calls? Okay...) so we can argue technicalities. It's beyond ridiculous!
With all these ads that you have on TV, print and social media basically trashing other fast food establishments and punting yourself as the best... This experience really left me wanting!
I expect a call from someone in your complaints resolution department to address my issue. In the absence of this - I will take my remarks to social media and handle this there.
