TASTLESS NANDO'S
Absolutely disgusted at the inconsistent service at Nando's Queensburgh, Durban. The reason behind purchasing of a nando's chicken meal is the basting sauce which gives it the unique flavor. However when I sit down to have supper, I am put off and left to go to bed hungry as I felt as if I am eating boiled chicken. Multiple request are made when ordering the food for extra basting sauce yet the meal comes dry and tasteless!! I have had previous issues and did approach management with no joy. I am told that they have a certain amount of sauce that they are allowed to put on the chicken, I have offered to even pay extra for basting sauce and my request is denied and I am told nothing can be done as this is their protocol. So why is their *********** staff taking orders and not advising customers of their "protocol" as when we request extra basting sauce they say okay. Nando's is pricy compared to other chicken outlets yet at other outlets eg. Pedro's, for almost half the price of nando's, the chicken comes well basted with sauce. The taste of nando's is unique which is why we don't mind paying extra but unfortunately we are now paying for *******!!! There are certain times where the meals come well prepared and there is extra sauce but most of the time we get served this *******!!! Where is the consistency? Where is the comptence? Really disappointing.
There’s more to Nando’s than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that’s a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
