Tasteless Food
On Sunday the 9th August myself and my boyfriend went for lunch at Nandos in Tygervalley Center. The manager was absolutely friendly! However, when our food arrived it was TASTELESS!! I ordered an extra hot wrap meal with wedges, the chicken was most definitely NOT grilled! It was boiled, the wedges were super small and hollow on the inside and very oily! The wrap was also extremely dry and not hot at all. My boyfriend had rice with chicken strips which also had no taste at all. Eventually we requested a manager, the staff deliberately took us for a ride by sending out one of the kitchen staff pretending to be the manager, not knowing that it was the manager who actually served us before we ate! I told him the whole story and he did not even fix the problem! This was the worse experience ever! Nandos tasted like NOTHING! tHE GUY WHO PRETENDED to be the manager took our cash slip and said he will keep it as a reference!
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
