****** phone at Nando's Adderley Street, Cape Town

Today,11/09/2019 I had a lunch at Nando's Adderley Street in Cape Town. I left my Cell phone on the table we were sitting, hardly 10 minutes we left the restaurant on our way to the office I remembered that I left my phone there, I immediately returned to the restaurant and alerted one of their waitresses and I showed her where we were sitting, the table was already cleaned and the people that were there having lunch the very same time as us were still there. The waitress went to the manager's office to report the incident and she came back telling me that the table we were sitting in is not visible to the cameras in their restaurant so they can't see which of their employees cleaned the table. They didn't show me the footage, they just sent the waitress to tell me that. I find it hard to believe what they told me coz there are cameras pointing at where we were sitting and I believe they saw the employee who took my phone from the table but they just don't care or it is something that their employees are doing, taking customers belongings when they mistakenly left them in their restaurant. One of their employees stole my phone today in their restaurant.
