special treat gone wrong
My wife and i who are pensioners decided to treat ourselves to a nandos chicken as a rare special treat. We ordered a full chicken done with lemon and herb. Our order number was 83. When we got home ans started to eat we were both shocked as the chicken was peri peri and we cant eat spicy foods. Our mouths were still burning from this even though we drank a litre of water each.I have on previous occasions purchased this lemon andherb and it was nice and not spicy like the peri peri. This is not funny at our age and really a poor show by nandos which we will never buy again. Also we cant afford to waste our money like this.Nandos should be ashamed of themselves doing this to elderly people like me. I could have done better with the R109.90 that i was charged and in my case was a lot of money.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
