Sometimes chicken can be too fresh
My sister and I went to Nandos this afternoon to grab some lunch to go. She ordered a "Still Dezemba" meal, which we order frequently from Nandos Greenstone Crescent. She always orders the leg portion with peri chips and gets the cranberry juice. When the food was ready in a flash, we were impressed that service is faster than usual, but we should've known better.
Firstly, instead of the leg portion, she was given a breast portion. Secondly, the chicken was almost raw. It looked as though it'd been boiled for 10 seconds, thrown onto the grill for 3 seconds, then drowned in sauce and stuffed into the paper sleeve. Naturally this discovery was made after we'd left the restaurant and were back at work and unable to go back to Nandos and make them aware of what happened.
I love Nandos more than I love life itself. I visited Qatar and I looked for Nandos first. I also looked for it first when I went to the UK and basically everywhere else. This was a really disappointing experience. I guess we're all human and mistakes happen, but I am very sad.
