Rude staff and terrible food
Ordered our meal at the till, was not even greeted by the staff at the till. Almost seemed like an effort to serve us. Asked for two cokes, she punched in two cans. So I asked her to change it to two bottles instead of cans. She gave an awful snarl and changed it after much protest. When the food eventually came it was cold and under-done! We wanted to ask them to re-warm it but a waiter was nowhere to be seen. Noticed that they were all sitting at a table eating supper! I approached them and said 'we've been waiting for someone to serve us for a while', one of the waiters responded rudely and said 'it's our time to eat also!'. I will not be going back there! Shocked at how we were treated, almost felt like peasants.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
