Poor service and expired goods
Note: Huge Nandos fanatics. Being pregnant, I had a craving for Nandos 20 June 2015, we went to dinner at Nandos concept store in Blackheath. Least to say we were very disappointed. The table was not even wiped down when we sat nor did anyone come to clean it. Our order: a starter giblets & a roll (hot), a wrap (hot), 3 wings (hot) & chips, 1/4chicken (hot, breast piece, extra sauce), chips & a roll, 1 can coke & 1 Craft beer. Our order arrived timely however there was no extra sauce with the 1/4 chicken meal, the giblets were extremely salty, the wrap tasted like cardboard/old, no one checked in on us & we hadn't even touched the wings due to our disappointment. We were going to take away the left overs but then I noticed my husband drinking his beer very slowly & the expiry date caught my eye, it was 6 June so they gave us expired beer on top of all the other quality issues. We informed the manager on duty & she just stood there saying what can I give you to make you happy, how can you make us happy when everything you served was of poor standards & quality. We asked for the owner details, she came back with the owners number & R34.90 in small change for the beer. Disgusted!
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
