POOR SERVICE
ON 2015-07-01 I CALLED THE NANDOS IN PRETORIUS STREET, PRETORIA TO ORDER A MEAL. I PLACED THE ORDER AND ASKED THE LADY HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE FOR DELIVERY, SHE REP**** 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR. MY OFFICE IS ABOUT 200 METRES AWAY FROM THE RESTAURANT. I TOLD THAT WAS TOO LONG AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO HER MANAGER. JOHANNES THEN CAME TO THE PHONE AND TOLD ME THAT WAS THE STANDARD WAITING TIME. SHOCKING! HE SAID THEY WERE BUSY AND HE COULD NOT DELIVER ANY EARLIER. IT WAS 11:30 IN THE MORNING. I TOLD HIM IT WAS TOO LONG AND I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT AND I WOULD CALL HIS HEAD OFFICE. HE TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD. I THEN SAID ITS FINE TO PROCESS MY ORDER AND I WOULD WAIT FOR 45 MINS. THE ORDER WAS NEVER DELIVERED AND I HAVE STILL NOT HEARD FROM JOHANNES. I AM SHOCKED AT THE TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
