Overcharged
Hi I had gone into the Nandos in pavillion on the 25th of September and ordered a veg pita with side of chips, I was surprised when I was told that the charge was R 78, I enquired as to why this was the charge as there is no such charge on the menu. The meal was priced at R62. The manager had come through and said this was a new charge and since I ordered the pita with veg and halloumi that this was the charge. I told him I've ordered this elsewhere many times and have never been charged this rate, he said its new charges and its not updated on the menu. Unfortunately I have misplaced that receipt. I purchased the same pita today from the Malvern branch (without the side of chips) and was charged the rate of R44. I then realised that what I was told at the pavillion branch cannot be possible. If the pita on its own cost R44 then I paid R34 for such a small side of chips on that day. I think this is ridiculous. I have actually not gone out and purchased this in a while as I thought it is just too expensive now, but all this while I was totally misinformed by the manager of pavillion.. Terrible service.
