New centralized call center business model of Nando's is ridiculous
For the past 7 years I've been buying a Nando's meal once a week (every Friday), and usually place my orders via the phone for collection. They now re-direct calls to an off-site centralized call center. After repeating my order literally FOUR times, spending 20 MINUTES on the phone, the operator still got it wrong. When I EVENTUALLY got the order through, upon arrival at the restaurant, the order wasn't even on the system and the whole order had to be placed AGAIN.
I used to be able to place my order directly with Nando's Eagles Landing, within 5 minutes, giving it only once, and in 7 years they never got it wrong.
I love your product Nando's, but unfortunately you are ruffling the feathers of your customers in a way which does your brand and business serious harm.
PS. Now Nando's... from your ads and marketing material, I know you like to joke around, and build a brand that is fun and playful... but please... PRETTY PLEASE with SUGAR ON TOP... do NOT respond with a humorous joke to this review. If you want to convince me that you are in any way serious about sorting out the havoc caused on your operations by a business model that is so obviously causing more problems than solutions, then please treat your response with the same level of seriousness, as the issue itself.

Any comments received, both good and bad, give Nando’s the opportunity to improve the quality of its service so that it meets both Nando’s high standards and its customers’ expectations.
