NEVER GOING TO ORDER OR GO TO NANDO'S EVER AGAIN.

I don't know where to start yesterday the 21st of April 2026 I went to Nando's hoping to get a satisfying meal however I chose the wrong establishment. NANDO'S VEREENIGING.

SERVICE: The service at the counter was pathetic firstly when a person enquires about a new product the person needs to do the upselling. It's either the staff has no training or they just have no interest in working there besides picking up a pay check. I was there with my partner, we ordered the BOUJEE MEAL for the both of us and two CAPPY juices. We decided we'd sit in because we were both from work, this was around 5pm. I stayed at the counter to pay and bring the drinks to the table. I first had to ask for clarity on the drinks and the guy at the till spoke to the fridge and not to me so I took whatever I could see, he didn't offer a straws I had to ask if they were available, after taking a big breath he gave them to me.

I went to the table where my partner was sitting. First thing that irritated me but I still convinced myself to keep my cool was the lady who brought the glasses and cutlery. She just placed them on the one side of the table where neither my partner and I could reach without even acknowledging us. We had to stand up to reach for them and she just walked away.

We let that slide until nit came to bringing the food (IF I SAY, BELOW PAR DISGUSTING SERVICE) it would still be a high rating for what we received and how we received it. The lady walked to the table didn't ask which of us ordered which flavor she just placed it there and walked away. No acknowledgement of the people at the table, just pure disgust on her face. She put the plates still on the far end of the table and walked away. Maybe her eyes showed her four people at the table but I'm certain there was only two of us.

THE FOOD: For started the rice was so cold like it was from the previous day, a 10 year old can do better. The only thing that was good on the plate was the avocado and two pieces of red pepper that was not really prepared by anyone but it was sliced.

We ate the below par food and left. I got home and thought to myself what the hell just happened? Were we being pranked? Are we going to get a call and we'll be told to come back it was a test? What the hell is happening at that establishment?

I am utterly, from the pit of my stomach utterly disgusted by NANDO'S as entire establishment.
