Nandos - what a disappointment .
Bad experience with the Nando's in Josiah Gumede Road in Pinetown !! Wednesday 12 August early evening we ordered a curb side collection on the app and was a advised the time for collection 6:33 and to stay in the vehicle and the delivery and card machine would be bought to us. Arrived at 6:25 no curbside markings although the website advises to park in the marked area. Not a soul in the place, no cars outside just staff standing around at the counter which you could see through the windows .After waiting to be noticed we flashed our lights .. ignored .. finally rang the store ... waited and waited and eventually the food arrived, no card machine so the lady went back for the machine. No paper in the machine so lady went back. No paper available to print for the machine... this just got worse and worse. So we left the parking (receipt less) at 7:05. By the time we opened the package to eat everything was ice cold. After what these take away establishments have been through with lock down and even after lockdown a slump in sales which was obvious as the place was literally empty at a popular meal time . Sorry this is not the service we expected from a well known Franchise.
There’s more to Nando’s than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that’s a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
