Nandos runs out of gas and cannot prepare meals?
My family and I went to Nandos in Florida Road and placed an order for eat in and a take away. Waited half and hour at one of the tables. No service. Made enquiies only to be told the cashier had entered the entire order as takeaway. Waited another half an hour still no service even after the staff knew we were eating in. Made further enquiries which resulted in the staff telling us that they had run out of gas and could not prepare anymore meals. So off to the cashier I went where I was giving my take away burger order and refunded the balance of order. Was assured that the burger had been cooked 100%. When I got home and wanted to eat the take away order I found that the chicken was still raw on the burger. Threw burger in the bin. *** is this country coming to. Lack of management, lack of staff training and general lack of customer service. My family and I will never go back to Nandos in Florida Road despite me being a faithful customer since the inception of Nandos.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
