Nando’s livers strikes yet again...
Right, that’s it, I am done with Nandos! I have lost count of the number of times I complained about the quality and quantity of their livers. Everytime I post something here on Hello Peter about my experience, I get a reply from one of the head-office agents promising me and the general public the moon, the stars and occasionally the sun as well that this will be discussed with the various branches in resolving the issue. I had enough. When the payment needs to be made, which by the way is ridiculous, its accepted with open arms, but nothing is done about the complaints from customers. From experience, I have learned to ask for extra sauce when ordering livers from Nando’s, because frankly, the livers are so badly overcooked, dry and without sauce that my pets refuses to eat it and the meal ends up in the bin. The problem with Nando’s is a lack of standardization. There is no measuring equipment used when food, and more specifically, the livers and sauce is prepared. A simple guess with the eye is enough. Every time you order something, its like opening a lucky-packet. You never know what you are going to get. The food in general is not the problem, but the livers is a waste of money. Even the full liver meal is normally filled less than half the size of the container and again, without sauce. They could actually save money by manufacturing smaller “full meal” containers. My order tonight was absolutely terrible. I counted 8 pieces of liver the size of a 50c coin each. No sauce whatsoever, not even a little bit as you normally would expect, no, absolutely nothing. The livers were bone dry. So tell me, why is there a bread roll included in the starter livers? If there is no sauce, what’s the point? Maybe Im doing it wrong? Is the roll suppose to be enjoyed dry, as-is? I think its time to move on and find a better fastfood outlet.
