Nando’s - food poisoning & gastroperesis

On December 30th 2024, I ordered a burger & single side from Nando’s Benmore in Sandton via Mr D. Within an hour of eating the meal I began vomiting profusely, and it was my first meal of the day. I threw up over 35 times. I had to be hospitalised for 6 days due to food poisoning and gastroperesis. I was discharged on 05 Jan 2025. The entire experience was absolutely horrific. I had to go for x rays, CT scans, a gastroscopy and my stomach had to be drained via my nose. It has caused me immense distress physically, mentally & emotionally. I’m still awaiting to hear from Nando’s about what they will be doing to compensate & resolve this matter.
