Nandos delivery... Two hours with no apologie

We ordered Nandos for dinner. Delivery guy could not enter the premises initially. I called the branch to let them know, they were aware and said that he will be on his way and then took my cell number. Twenty minutes later still no sign. Still patient,I called again, the branch said that the food came back and it got warmed out and now the delivery guy had left and on his way. 15 min later still no sign, as it only takes about 5-10mins to get into complex. Maybe other deliveries but when I called they just said the guy is on his way. But I insisted it shouldn't take that long, but the branch did not inform me maybe there other delvieries hence the delay. No, nothing like that. They just said he is on his way, like that was half and hour ago, like its nothing wrong. 15 min food arrived, but it took already two hours. The number was busy for 10min. So in the end we got food else where. No call to apologies. Nothing. Is this is how service is being dealt with at Nandos? It seems to be okay to leave a customer hungry and ignored.

Hello candzwp,

There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback to us through the Hello Peter website. Any comments we receive, both good and bad, give us the opportunity to improve the quality of our service so that it meets both our high standards and our customers' expectations.

We have directed your feedback onto the relevant team who will get back to you in two shakes of a chicken's tail.

PERi-PERily yours,

The Nando's customer care team
