Nandos Constantia disgrace
I visited the Nandos in Constantia on Saturday and to my suprise received the worst possible service. Upon arrival, i place my orders and went to get seated. The place was extremely empty as only 1 table had a couple seated and the staff eating on 2 tables. My wife had to clean out a table as all the tables were dirty and not cleaned from the previous customers. When we started cleaning the table a waiter came to us and apologised for the dirty tables and chairs and resumed cleaning informing us that they had been very busy just before we arrived. We than sat and had our drinks while waiting for the food. The food arrived only to be ice cold. They reheated and brought back to us. The full chicken was half extra hot and half lemon and herb which was all fine, the chicken livers was suppossed to be extra hot but tasted like it was mild. When we asked the waiter the flavour he said it was extra hot but you could taste the difference between the livers and the chicken. My 5 year old daughter and 11 year old son ate the livers as it was not even hot. I asked the waiter to please assist me with some of the extra hot sauce for the livers in a bowl who told me they are not allowed to and will get the manager to assist me. The manager arrived and when i asked him to assist me , he rep**** no they cannot, they can take it back and add sauce in it. I told him that i dont want 2 different sauces mixed and just want some extra hot sauce in a small bowl to put the livers in but all he could say was no he cannot help me and walked away. I eat at Alberton Nandos for many years and always receive excellent food and helpful staff. I now realize why the place was so empty on my arrival as the management are rude and just dont give a damn as long as he could sit and eat and not worry about us. Thanks alot Nandos Constantia for the most unpleasany Nandos experience. I honestly reccommend that the owner looks at the condition of the Nandos during the day as it is unacceptable to eat there especially with unpleasant people to top it off.
