Nando's Pietermaritzburg - Poor Service
The service at Nando's was beyond unacceptable. <br> I called an order into the branch in Scottsville, my instruction was clear and it is clearly displayed on my slip. <br> We have an half hour break for lunch but felt like eating in that day, I called and gave in my order with clear instruction I would be there by 12h30. <br> I walk in with my group and get a table, pay for the food. Only to discover that it is packed for take away. I show the lady my slip, and she acknowledges she made a mistake and she would arrange foe the meals to be plated. I was told it would take 5mins. To which my surprised was not containable, the food arrive 35 minutes later, off which no one knew where the food was for a start, to people coming in after us and getting there food well before us. When the food eventually arrives, the order is wrong, my friend gets the wrong burger, another had a quarter chicken that was as big as a fish finger, my meal was wrong, I ordered a Halumi pita and got a burger patty in pita. When asked for the manager he looked at my slip, said they made a mistake without consulting with anyone and then acted like we didnt exist. The experience was so enjoyable I will never go back again.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
