Missing items in takeaway order
This is indeed the 3rd occasion where I am highly dissatisfied with service at the Newlands West Nandos restaurant. Twice I had order a full chicken cut into 8pieces only to arrive home and have 7 pieces in my takeaway. I have let it slide for both times however today at 18:30 I purchased a festive meal and a spicy rice and strips only to arrive home and my spicy rice and strips was not packed. Luckily I reside in the area and I took my time and mileage to return to the restaurant only to find that the staff does not care and have a bad attitude the manager was worse!! I asked for my money back which was thrown across the counter. I am in the tourism and hospitality industry and never have I experienced such terrible service. It is sad to see that the service levels at this franchise are pathetic. It is Very embarrassing for management to perform so poorly, from my experience if a customer is dissatisfied you make sure that you apologize and try to make up for that mess. Nobody apologized at the restaurant and they made it clear in front of other customers that they do not care about our situation.
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
