***********, confused and generally useless

At 19:01 I called to place an order for delivery. Usually, process was followed, gave my number and address. Then I'm told they cannot deliver. I asked why didn't really get an answer. I asked to speak to the manager and the line was cut.

I phoned back demanding an explanation and got put through to Customer Care. To my surprise, even more useless. Was told they don't deliver in my area because it falls out of range. They only deliver within a 15km radius. So I said that that should be fine then because we fall in that area. Then he said, Oh sorry, it's actually 10km radius for delivery. So I said cool because we fall in that area still. Then he said Oh sorry, it's actually a 5km radius.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The actual distance is 8.1km they would have had to travel to make delivery. To my knowledge, this is a reasonable distance when it comes to making deliveries from fast food outlets. And this coming from customer care. 3 lies in 1 minute. No problem.
