<p>On 31st January I bought a take away from Nhando's at Vangate Mall . My debit card was charged . On 23rd March the same transaction was debited again . This drained my account as it was just before pay day . I couldn't buy electricity , buy food , put fuel in my car to go anywhere , including work , and had no data to call anyone but my bank . The bank , Capitec, blamed Nandos , the Nandos manager blamed the bank . It's been 3 days now , my money has not been returned . The manager is so unconcerned about it . He initially told me he'd look into it the next day , then the next day he was going in at 12 . No urgency at all . Now he wants me to email my bank statements and this is after I whatsapped the statements through to him . I am livid . This is ***** , the bank said they used the debit slip with identical transaction numbers on both transactions . How many customers do they do this to ? I've called , complained on social media , and guess what , they still have my money . I have not been paid , so the impact of this on my life , my family , has been substantial and they don't care at all . </p>
