Extra Charge without notifying the customer

Nando’s now charges R1 extra for the 1/4 & side meal without even notifying customers.

I was charged extra then when I query I’m told that it’s for a donation but I was not even asked and the cashier tells me that I was busy when she asked me. But my question is how do you proceed when I have not given my approval - even if she had asked me.
