Don't care attitude!
I can't even begin to express the amount of exasperation and dismayal of the service I received today. I have always came to Nandos and never in my had I have to wait a good hour for someone to decide they want to take our orders. First I got here and they asked if we wanna go sit upstairs. We agreed, got upstairs and stood there looking like complete lost idiots in sought of sitting space. We then found ourselves a table but there were no chairs. We stood there hoping somebody will come and arrange chairs for us but no one came. Eventually we went downstairs thinking maybe someone will bother to attend to us. We had to find ourselves a table AGAIN. After finding a table. It was dirty and we just sat there. Took the waitress 20 minutes after the run around for the waitress to come and tell us they will come and wipe the table. Then a further 15 minutes for her to bring the cloth and wipe the table like she initially promised. I do not know if this is how you guys treat your customers but it's utterly appalling! The restaurant is not even packed but this is how we are being treated. I don't know if they are under-staffed or what but I find it absurd that no one comes and explains!
There's more to Nando's than delicious PERi-PERi chicken. Although that's a big part of it, we also like to ruffle our feathers about the exceptional experience we create on the whole at our restaurants across South Africa and the world.
