45 MINUTES FOR A MEAL

I placed a take away in the store at Nandos Pietermaritzburg mall at 15h56 on Wednesday - around R250. The store was not full and not busy. By 16h20, I asked about my order and was told "its coming". At this stage they had served take away customers that had come after me. The kitchen staff were not doing anything and sitting looking at me. At 15h30 I again asked aboyt my order and spoke to a so-called manager. That is when they realise dby order was not processed and starting trying to complete the order.

I recieved my order at 16h35. I lodged a complaint on the Nandos Customer care line and was told the matter "would be escalated".

The delay delayed my planned meeting on Wednesday.

Yesterday at 15h30 I recived a call from Customer Care who asked if the store had contacted me and I said no. They said the store had said they had contacted me! At 16h30 someone from the Pietermaritzburg store phoned me to apologise and asked me to come to the store, I said I live in Jhb and was in Pmb on business. They said they would phone me back. About 30 minutes later the person I had dealt with on Wednesday phoned me to apologise.

I even lodged a complaint through Twitter and provided my details.

NO ONE FROM NANDOS MANAGEMENT has bothered to phone me or contact me.

CLEARLY NANDOS HAS NO INTEREST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RESPONDING TO COMPLAINTS . CLEARLY ALSO IT DOES NOT THINK 45 MINUTES IS TOO LONG TOO WAIT FOR ONE'S ORDER.

I WILL BE FORWARDING THIS TO THE CEO OF NANDOS MR G. WHYTE - PERHAPS HE MAY BE INTERESTED.
