1/4 chicken and chips please? - Actually I'll have the "Bone licked clean" chicken and Bad attitude rather!

Branch - Nando's Cape Road, Port Elizabeth

I never write bad reviews, but after tonight's display I really don't have a choice. I ordered a 1/4 chicken and chips for the lady, and a Hotpot for myself. Got home and went to take the chicken out of the packet and well, all I can say is what a joke. The chicken had already been eaten!! All the meat was half chewed off, with the leg bones poking out (fully exposed). I didn't open the other items.

So off I trotted to take it back, over comes the manager. The only interaction I got was "You want another". I said "Are you joking, look at it, please just give me my money back". That was it, a grunt and then the money returned. No apology, no consequences, no interaction. I used to work in a restaurant and I would have been groveling an apology out to try and retain the customer. Not just "You want another".

If that's the managers attitude, why would the staff give a toss about the customers. The worse thing was, I'd already pre-filled out the questionnaire and given a positive rating.

Suffice to say, I won't be going back there again for a "bone licked clean" chicken. Train your managers Cape Road, you're a disappointment to the brand!!
