Motor vehicle Accident

Hi<br> <br> I was in a motor vehicle accident with an employee of the above mentioned company in December. He knocked into me while i was stationed at a stop street. This person was driving a company vehicle and he couldn't say sorry enough for knocking into. A month later from not hearing from them, i called him and according to him his boss has now decided to not register the claim because he feels it was not his employee's fault. I was knocked from behind, how can this not be their problem?
