SAQA 244283

I\ve been told by nosa that I must do into to samtrac and ashepp. But the saqa sandard sets the legal entry as matric (communication level 4)
Other well known and national/internationally acredited companies like sra she solutions play a fair game by asking for std 10 as pre entry which is what is asked by unit standard.
To me

Hello simp@12345,

Thanks for your email. SAMTRAC is the most respected short in our industry and is of a significantly higher level than any other short course available. The reason for the pre requisites is to ensure that all students are as well prepared for SAMTRAC as possible. I am sure that you will agree that std 10 doesn't deal with occupational risk management in any detail, if any, and we need to ensure that our students have the best possible preparation for SAMTRAC. Once a student has completed SAMTRAC and attained a certificate they have real value from this respected certificate which provides the best foundation for entry into the risk management industry. Regards
Justin
