The doctors in South Africa are so unfair to the medical aid holders. When you consult you are being told to come back tomorrow or next week so that the doctor can take blood tests on you. Then medical aid charges are charged and paid for the initial consultation and the second consultation for blood test. Worse part is that you still come back to the same facilities to take the blood test, unlike if the equipments are not available.
This is so unfair because blood tests could have been conducted on the day of the first consultation to avoid double claim. And within a year our savings are depleted.
