Conveniently (Intentionally?) Misleading Consumers - Dishonest Company

I have had the same experience as another reviewer here.
Ordered from the 'local' website (myprotein.co.za) - paid a fairly high shipping fee considering 'local' although appeared to be a courier service - Upon receiving tracking, found out it was being sent from the Netherlands (not nearly local) through the South African post office (which most avoid as packages often don't arrive) - recieved 2 weeks later (very lucky) rather than the few days anticipated - and given a nice surprise in the form of customs duties when i collected parcel.

Total fee (with shipping and customs duties) was 81% of order value.

During ordering process, Myprotein at no point made it obvious that (1) they ship from outside the country and (2) that you need to pay duties. Reponse from myprotein to this was that it was in their terms and conditions. Who among all internet shoppers read the full terms and conditions of the sites they use?

That they have a 'local' website and don't provide clear indicators regarding shipping and customs appears to be a convenient and possibly intentional means of misleading the consumer, to sell their product.

In summary - a dishonest company who have had this complaint before but make no change to their website to remedy it.
