I received an sms stating that a I must pay R35 for import duties for a parcel held at the airport. I made the payment, because I do normally order goods from abroad and thought nothing of it. The next day mypastimes.club deducted R264 from my bank account. I have never heard of this organization and gave no authorization for this deduction. I googled the website and emailed them to the address it provides and demanded my money back or I'd be giving them hell, which I'm perfectly capable of. The sent an sms 5min later stating that they've refunded my money and cancelled my membership/subscription. I never asked for a membership. Never subscribed to anything. It's been 3 days and the funds still haven't been returned. In fact, my running balance is now minus R998. Seemingly, that's what they would have deducted had I not emptied my account after that first ripoff. They are still desperately trying to swindle me out of more money. According to the website they are based in Cyprus. I am currently working with my bank to contain the matter. This organization should be shut down and never again see the light of day.
