eBirds app not working properly

Last December I purchase the Sasol eBirds of Southern Africa but found that two key features did not function - keeping a list of birds seen and keeping a list of locations. Following a comment to the, Mydigitalearth responded on 3 January 2022 that they were aware of these problems and a release would be available soon. It is now March and I have been unable to record the sightings of many birds which I have seen in various nature reserves . How soon is 'soon' ?? When can I expect to be able to use the product properly ?
