Is this attitude acceptable?

Tonight(14/08/18) between 18:00-18:25 upon making my way out through the Granger bay my citi turnstile one of the staff member(male reliever) ran through the gate of the turnstile I opened with my card. I know that the staff members are not suppose to do that as there will be another member opening the gate for them, well he obviously took a big fat chance with me as he couldn't wait for the main staff/lady member to get out of the office, as that's also something she don't do when bus arrives at station. When I ask him why he does this instead of anything else he and the lady(staff) find it or me very funny to ask why, trying to make me the fool out of it. I need a verbal apology from those two.
