Selling less than advertised and paid for!

I am very unhappy with my delivery from yesterday. Firstly, my order came around 13:20, and when I opened the box (not polystyrene anymore), the chicken wasn’t even frozen. So how should I know how long the chicken has been out of the fridge and if it is still safe to eat.

Then last night when I portioned the meat, I came up short with the first packet of chicken. So I weighed all the 1kg packets, because you sell them by the kg for a kg price… • 1st packet of chicken – 769g • 2nd pack of chicken – 837g • 3rd packet of chicken – 930g • Packet of steak – 931g • 1st packet of mince – 774g • 2nd packet of mince – 797g • 3rd packet of mince – 793g

The steak I can understand, but the chicken is 464g short – almost half a kg, and the mince 636g short – more than half a kg! This is unacceptable. In these tough times every little bit matters, and this is unacceptable. Rather charge your clients for the actual weight of the products rather than overcharging. I am very disappointed.
