SPAR CHEESE BUNS

Hi, this is just a general question.. I always support my local Spar and I went to spar in harties the one day and I bought cheese buns and it was the best buns I have ever tasted. I thought to myself why does this spar cheese buns taste like a treat on its own but the spar by me the buns are either hard as rocks or the cheese is isn't actually on the cheese bun? Isn't the recipe the same across all spars?
