No Shoes No Entry Humiliating experience at Spar Summerset Street Capetown

Bad Service at Spar Summerset Street in Capetown. Yesterday I went in to Spar without my shoes and I was Rudely stopped by the security guys who told me that it was procedure not to let anyone into the store without shoes. The saga lasted for almost 15 minutes and I eventually took the shoes from my bag and put them on. I then went into the managers office as I was told he is there and his name was Ryan. But he was not there. I spoke to Lihle who then said there was no policy like that. I was embarrassed, and I felt my culture was not respected. Even though I bought food. I ended up not getting all that I needed from the store. This happened around 15:00 PM December 01. I have never been turned back anywhere else for not having shoes. I am very dissappointed with this Spar as I always shop from it when I am in Capetown. I hope the matter is dealt with and feedback be given to. I am still in shock. I was followed around and humiliated as if I was some junk ********. Or what is for some other reason?
