#30in30 I went to my local spar (spar orchads Presto) for some essentials. I bought a packet of 5 whole chickens and upon getting home I found out that they were not fresh. I tweeted to @myspar handle on Twitter and got a swift response from Glenda at their head office in Durban. She escalated the matter to Debby who called and told me to go back to the store and ask for Cas. Cas is the manager who not only replaced the chicken but also gave me the transport money I used in the process. In these tough times its great to know that our local shops have our back.
