80% donation towards vital medical machine

I have a rare heart disease and underwent open heart surgery in 2013. I also have significant restrictive lung disease and sleep apneoa. Prior to the heart surgery and diagnosis of the lung disease a BIPAP The****utic device was prescribed by the cardiologist and requested MYSLEEP (a company specialising in sleep apnoea and respitority functions) to do the appropriate testing and the supply of the BIPAP machine. Tobie, from MYSLEEP, was the champion of the entire process. Tobie and his colleagues were absolutely wonderful. They assisted in the process of obtaining authorisation for the machine. The machine was a reasonably expensive machine. The medical aid declined my application. Tobie then decided to apply for an ex-gratia payment on my behalf to the medical aid. Mart-marie was also very involved in the entire process by assisting me with the documentation and communication to the medical aid. Tobie was instrumental with the motivations from the cardiologist and pulmonologist. Again the application was denied by the medical aid. Tobie knew the importance of the machine due to my medical condition and then decided to donate the shortfall of the costs (80%). I am so thankful.
