Freaky Fast Fading Fragrance

*NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE REAL "MY PERFUME SHOP" IN WESTERN CAPE. Curiously while looking for the aforementioned MY PERFUME SHOP - I ended up on this "My Perfume Shop Auction & All" page and thought they had a page where they had auctions. Unfortunately this was not the case. I should have done my homework - as the accredited My Perfume Shop sells authentic brands only, and on the Facebook Page: https://web.facebook.com/groups/***/ My Perfume Shop Auction & All - they do say do say: Genuine Premium Brand, High Quality, Alcohol Based, FACTORY REJECT PERFUMES at unbelievable low prices on Auction. THEREFORE..... Although you are given fair warning on the Facebook Auction page that perfumes only "look and smell the same as the retail you love" and the fragrance doesn't "quite last as long". It does not warn that the fragrance IMMEDIATELY disperses upon impact with your skin. I don't know if it is only on my skin. They also warn that it is alcohol based - which now clearly means it evaporates immediately - and in my case - with it, the fragrance. They also say that "you would need to spritz again after 3-4 hours". Parallel imports. Well, I bought Sì from Giorgio Armani - a beautiful subtle fragrance... BUT, my husband could not detect the SLIGHTEST fragrance even after only a few minutes after I app**** it liberally. And I mean LIBERALLY and LITERALLY after a few minutes! I thought he joked - and asked my domestic - and she couldn't even smell that I sprayed perfume in the house when she came in from outside. (Even my linen-spray can be detected after a longer period, when sprayed, and the room spray after a very LONG while, when sprayed in the house). But she could not even smell any perfume! And she came in a few minutes after I sprayed it. Not even a trace of a fragrance lingered. Usually when I use my authentic perfume - when in my room upstairs - she smells it downstairs, even before I come downstairs. I then tried something else - I gave it time to 'DEVELOP" - around half an hour... as with authentic perfume - BUT, alas - then there really wasn't even the slightest bit of a fragrance left, not even on my blouse. After the auction, when it came time to pay - and they gave me a PRIVATE bank account number - I wasn't sure about the whole transaction. Because I couldn't understand why the money should not be paid into the account of "My Perfume Shop". But I eventually went through with the buy - because the lady said otherwise she would have to pay the Courier from her own money. Looking back though - I should have trusted my husband's gut. I must say though - the service was excellent, and Dianne Piek is a friendly, well mannered and sweet lady - and it grieves me to write this review because she is such a nice person.
