Stay far away.

I would give zero stars if I could. I made contact with my debt hero because I wanted assistance in lowering my monthly repayments just to make my month to month living easier. I explained to the rep that I'm a single mum and I am not struggling to pay my debts but would just like a bit of breathing room each month. She said she understood and they would help me. Honestly these people will make you feel understood and supported until they get what they want from you.

Wolves in sheep's clothing. They took over R11 000 from me over two months and I am now in arrears for the first time with my creditors. I told them that I no longer want to use their services and that I will be paying my creditors myself. They said that they would suspend my account and allow me to go through the process of using an attorney to go to court to say that I am not overindebted and will continue to pay my debts but then they yet again debited the amount from my account.

I called them to speak to the customer service rep Zinzi and they said she is busy and will call me later. I already know that won't happen. Each person I spoke to gave me cold responses and it was evident that they did not want to engage with me.

Anyone who is smart enough to read reviews before joining this company needs to know that they must STAY AWAY. Using my debt hero is the worst thing a person who is under financial stress can do!
