Debt review
I enquired to see what this is all about. From what I read on their FB adverti*****t it seemed like they could cut your interest on your debt. In the reviews when people ask them questions, they refer them to their website. I did go on their website and then someone phoned me and started asking me which debt I have. I said I just wanted to find out what it is all about and he then told me he needs all my debt to see if I qualify. He was a very smooth talker and very intimidating. When I asked him questions he would tell me not to talk over him as he is trying to help me. Eventually he said he sent me something on my cell phone where I must sign and it will give him access to check my credit check. Unfortunately I did sign it. In hindsight I should have never signed it, but it was too late. The next thing I receive emails to say I am under debt review. When I phoned to find out what is happening I was told sorry, you are under debt review and it cannot be cancelled. I sent them emails and eventually they sent me a 17.2 form saying that my application was rejected and that I am not under debt review anymore. Well, that was the beginning of my nightmare. All my accounts were blocked as well as my credit card and personal loan. It has taken me 2 months to clear everything and put my debit orders in place again. I went into arrears because I could not pay as I did not have access to my accounts. My advice to the people out there is not to respond to these adverti*****ts on FB unless you want to go under debt review. I did report it to the NCR, but all I got from them was an email to tell me they are very busy and have a huge backlog. To date, no reply from them again.
