PLEASE! PLEASE! DO NOT BOOK with My Blue Hotel, Nungwi, Zanzibar. They had us stopped at a police roadblock and wanted us arrested for a Hotel bill of $14. Which was PAID. The receptionist refused to accept our proof of payment and was adamant that we were to be arrested. As frequent visitors to a lot of countries in Africa and have a deep love for this continent, this was the worst experience we ever had!!!!This will take us a long time to put behind us and come to terms with. It was a ********** experience. We are still traumatized. Shocking to say the least. Why do the hotel have no verifiable, sound administrative systems.?
