MX 24 no business ethics
Hi there,
I would just like to advise everyone wanting to use MX24 for their moto-X needs not to do business with them. My sons bike was sent in to them for a service and a fire broke out at an office next to them. My sons bike was caught in the fire and burnt. They contacted their insurance and their insurance was not willing to assist as the fire started next door. I have since then been in contact with the staff and owner and they are not willing to assist in anyway to pay for the motor bike as they claim it was not their issue. They are not even willing to assist in paying the amount of R18 000, in instalments to pay me back for my sons bike. I have a son who is distraught as the bike was bought as a gift and the owner just shrugs me off.
Please be very careful when dealing with MX24, Mike is the owner, as their customer ethics suck. I am a business owner myself and should I be put in a position that he has been put in, I would do everything in my power to assist the client. Yes, its left there at owners risk, however you should be covered in the event of fire, natural disaster and so forth. This is also a fairly new company which also makes me wonder. I have dealt with bike shops for years and have never experienced this service ever. Just wash your hands of and accept no responsibility
Rather stick to the well known names in the industry who have given the customer service and attention than try and support a brand that looks good but does not look after its clients
Thanks
