Unfair Warranty Claim Rejection

I am very disappointed with the handling of my warranty claim. The claim was rejected due to a coolant leak, despite coolant being a covered component under the warranty. The leaked coolant directly damaged the wiring harness, yet the claim was declined solely because the wiring harness is not listed as a covered item.

This reasoning is unacceptable. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to anticipate that a coolant failure would cause secondary damage. The purpose of a warranty is to cover damage resulting from the failure of insured components, which clearly applies in this case.

I had already heard from others about MVIS’s poor handling of warranty payouts but still chose to give them a chance. Unfortunately, this experience has confirmed those concerns. I will never recommend the company to anyone.
