Run from MVIA they lie and don't support you when they were wrong

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER RUN RUN RUN!

This is my email to them and the response is I must pay R2700 and some change to cancel my policy after I gave my Vin number to the agent and she sold me a policy I never needed. I just want to have it cancelled they can keep the extra money they have taken from me every month. This is a money making business and don't have the right staff to advise your if the policy your taking out and spening so much money a month on is the correct one for you.

My issue discribed below.

I am writing this letter with great disappointment not only in the staff that gave me this quote but also in the staff that approve the services.

I took this policy out last year and have been a loyal payer. When I took this policy out I would expect the person who logged all my car details to advise me all the correct details. I am a women who is not a mechanic and not well informed on cars.

I need to book my car in for a service, the process ran quite smoothly in that regard with submission and approval. I was then notified by the approved RMI service centre the timing chain needed to be replaced. I advised them to submit it to my plan. I was notified it was declined. To my shock I had no idea why.

I called to query why would it be declined. I was not treated well at all. I was advised my car doesnt have a cam belt and has a timing chain. When the person was opening up my report and I took out the EXTRA cambelt cover why was I not advised my car had a timing chain if the was not to cover that as I have all this time been paying the extra cost to have that covered.

Also this does not make sense as my partner took out the exact same cover and he was advised to take out the cambelt cover and when he asked this question she said it would cover to the cars specifications even if its a timing chain.

I find this completely unfair and have been completely mistreated.

I would like an answer to the below: Does the cambelt cover taken out extra cover to the car specifications even if it is a timing chain? If it does not, why did they allow me to take out the extra cover? If not I would like to be back paid all the payments made for that extra cover?

If it does cover the cars spec which is the timing chain, I want be reimbursed for the HUGE amount I had to take out of my own pocket for that.

If you are unable to assist me and willing to look at my case I will cancel my cover in the entirety and go to Motor happy.

Please can someone treat this as URGENT as I feel I have been completely de*****ed.
